| This kind of transformer is one of the best way to produce HV at high current from mains. There'not much to say about this HV source, it is a simple transformer with three or four terminals and two cables. The mains terminals are two while the HV terminal is only one and the other secundary connection is the core and the two cables are the connections for the heater (them supply 3-6V at about 13-10A). |
