What you can find in a flash

A flash is another good source of HV components, but usually they can't withstand over than 350-500V. A flash is composed by two or three stages:

• Switching step-up high voltage generator or, in a mains powered unit, a simple voltage duplicator.

• Capacitor Bank.

• Very High Voltage pulse transformer with its trigger circuitry.
